Registration for the Baylor in the Dominican Republic summer study abroad program is on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is recommended as space is limited.

Students wishing to attend this program are requested to first contact Les Palich, Program Director, and then to complete an application. An application can be picked up in the John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship or you can download the ONLINE APPLICATION.

To reserve your place in the program, a $500 deposit is due with the application. This deposit will be applied to the program fee. The full payment is due by Wednesday, April 2, 2010.

Deposit checks should be made payable to "Baylor University" and hand-delivered to either Dawn Maitz (Hankamer School of Business, 3rd Floor Hankamer, John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship, Suite 301 in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship) or Malinda Green, also in the Center for Entrepreneurship.

Refund policy: Baylor in the Dominican Republic will not refund any money paid to a contractor, unless Baylor in the Dominican Republic receives a refund. Refunds of program costs will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

By submitting a registration deposit, you are not guaranteed acceptance into the program.

Acceptance is based on the completed application and applicant eligibility (that is, a GPA of 2.75 or better). Also, participating students may not be on academic probation or suspension. NOTE: A student with a GPA lower than 2.75 may still apply, but he or she may be asked to provide additional information to determine eligibility.

Acceptance can be revoked if applicant becomes ineligible at any time before departure.
