Scott H. Garner

Short Biography

Served for 30 years in the Air Force as a Medical Executive. Positions held included:

• Commander of several Air Force Hospitals including Langley in Virginia
• The Executive Director for Health Policy for the Assistant Secretary of Defense in Washington DC
• He finished his military service as the Corporate Vice-President for Operations for Air Combat Command providing oversight to 17 medical treatment facilities

In the fall of 2001 Scott came to Baylor to help establish a Healthcare Administration Specialization within the MBA program. This program had a successful start in the fall of 2003.

Scott is a Baylor alumnus receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1971 and his Master of Health Administration in 1981. He also holds an MBA from the University of West Florida.
