In
the Baylor in Great Britain program, we make every effort to protect
the health, safety, and security of our student and faculty
participants. For these efforts to be effective, we all
need to to be aware of the risks associated with international
travel, and we all need to behave responsibly, and make ourselves
aware of the resources available to reduce these risks. Please
take the time to read the following information and explore the
following web resources.
All
of the participants in this program will be enrolled in an Academic Health Plans policy, providing access to services and coverages that
usually are not included in family policies, such as adequate coverage for medical evacuation and repatriation,
arrangements for local-currency payment to international hospitals,
and access to a 24-hour assistance line for international emergencies.
