Women should be advised to follow the statement below exactly to begin using NuvaRing^® effectively:

 

"NuvaRing^® may be inserted anytime within seven days after the last combined OC and no later than the day that a new cycle of pills would have been started."

 

Note: No other form of protection is needed.
