A process is a performance broken into stages. When you present
a complicated task to the learner in small bits, or stages, they
are able to learn it more quickly. As shown below, each stage contains
the procedures and principles to perform that part of the process.
Try to keep the number of stages to 7 or less so as not to overload
the learner.
