Lesson 2 taught the process to develop eLearning. In stage 2 of this process, you do a needs analysis to define what needs to be taught. This will be the content in your course.

You are now in Lesson 3 which explains the five types of content found within a course. This is important because each type of content is presented differently.

The lesson will enable you to:

• Define procedure, principle, concept, fact, and process,
• Explain how to teach a procedure, principle, concept, fact, and process,
• Explain how to test a procedure, principle, concept, fact, and process, and
• State the suggested order for teaching procedures, principles, concepts, and facts.
