Biography

After graduating with my MSc in Industrial Engineering, I began my career in the oil and gas industry as a systems analyst. Over time, I progressed to become a project controller and later took on the role of project procurement officer. While working as a project procurement officer, I pursued an MBA. Upon earning my degree, I was promoted to deputy director of the planning and systems development department. Shortly thereafter, I was invited to teach at the Industrial Management Institute, a higher education institution for professionals, where I instructed MBA-level courses for executive managers in subjects such as engineering economics and financial appraisal of projects. Eventually, I became the R&D project manager, which inspired me to pursue a Ph.D. in Information Systems. Drawing on my personal experiences, I developed an interest in studying human behaviors, viewing them as fundamental issues and challenges within the industry. Recently, my research has focused on the interactions between humans and artificial intelligence, particularly in light of the increasing prevalence of large language models.
