Biography
Joshua was a first-generation college student and will always remain a rural Alabama farmboy at heart.
Joshua has served in multiple executive and executive advisory roles in both established and startup firms. As a Chief Investment Officer, Joshua specialized in the use of options, and hedging strategies in collaboration with high-net-worth individuals and institutions. As Chief Executive Officer, he led the turnaround of a regional RIA that led to a successful acquisition by a major national acquirer. He has served as an advisor or consultant to Registered Investment Advisory firms, and investment funds. He has been ranked by Forbes as one of the top advisors in Texas and one of the top “Next Generation” wealth advisors in America. Joshua serves as a business consultant and coach to entrepreneurs and financial services firms.
Joshua holds degrees from Brown University (BA), where he gave his graduation speech, Salve Regina University (MS), and Oklahoma State University (PhD). He is a Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) credential holder, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF) credential holder. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and singing, sports with family, football, staying active with weightlifting and yoga, taking his Beagle puppy, Pippa to the park and volunteering with his church.
