Biography

Chuck Delaney has served on the Baylor faculty since 1988. Prior to accepting a position at Baylor he was on the faculty at the University of Florida. In 2006, Delaney received the Outstanding Teaching Award from Baylor University.
Delaney is the author of numerous articles which have appeared in leading real estate journals, such as the Journal of Real Estate Research, the Journal of Real Estate Economics, the Appraisal Journal, the Journal of Real Estate Practice and Education and the International Journal of Property Management.
A frequent presenter at professional meetings, Delaney is active in the American Real Estate Society, the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association and the Society for Case Study Research.
Delaney has served as a visiting research scholar at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, where he conducted research on the price effects of development exactions on housing prices and social services.
