• Only 7.2 - 11.7% of U.S. women taking NuvaRing^® experience breakthrough bleeding.
• Women who use NuvaRing^® and are prescribed some oral antibiotics, antifungals, and anticonvulsants should use an additional form of contraceptive during the time they take the medication.
• NuvaRing^®'s effectiveness decreases when the product is outside of the vaginal cavity (during the 21-day regimen) for longer than three hours.
