Biography

I grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Highlands High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 1979 and a MBA from the Texas A&M system (Tarleton State University). After college, I spent 27 years in the practitioner business world. I retired in 2006 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Nashua Label Products (a division of Nashua Corporation).
Since 2006, I have been a partner in Dunlap & Pagel Builders, LLC. (2006-2022) and a director in the Svoboda Capital Partners Group (2014-2020). I also served on the Midway I.S.D. school board from 2006 to 2021.
My wife, Suzi (BU 1980), and I have two grown sons, Andy (wife D’Leesa) and Collin. Andy is also a graduate of Baylor. We have one grandson, Levi. We enjoy visiting with friends and family, and time at the lake. We are members of First Methodist in Waco.
