Biography

After graduating with my MSc degree in industrial engineering I joined industry working as a systems analyst in the oil and gas industry. Eventually, I became a project controller and then project procurement officer after a couple of years. While working as a project procurement officer I was also pursuing my MBA. Once I received my degree I was promoted to the deputy of planning and systems development department. Shortly after, I was invited to teach at Industrial Management Institute as an instructor. I taught some MBA-level courses to other executive managers, such as engineering economics, and financial appraisal of projects. Later on, I became the R&D project manager, which became one of my motivations to pursue my Ph.D. in information systems.
Now, by bringing my personal experience into academia, I am interested in studying the human factors as one of the underlying issues and challenges industry faces.
