Biography
I am a Baylor alumnus who is honored to be working at Baylor. My educational background has prepared me well to be a Lecturer at Baylor and I also plan on continuing to publish research. After achieving my undergraduate degree at Baylor, I worked as a high school teacher in Waco before heading back to Baylor to get my master's in organizational communication. I headed down to The University of Texas at Austin for my doctoral degree where I research organizational identification and communication. Along with my Ph.D., I met my wife in the doctoral program and we were married in 2013.
When not working, I enjoy hanging out with my wife Jessica (also a Baylor professor in communication) and our daughters Hannah and Emmy. We enjoy going to the Waco Zoo, trying out new restaurants, traveling to the mountains, and walking our Golden Retriever, Olive. Personally, I am an avid golfer and enjoy playing other sports such as soccer and basketball.
We are members of a local non-denominational church in Waco and are active in small group. We love living in Waco and continue to look for ways to serve the Waco and Baylor community.
