10th Anniversary Special International Edition of Research in Accounting Regulation

Call for Papers 1997 Edition

For this special international edition, we are seeking manuscripts which address international regulatory policy relevant to accountancy issues. The editors encourage submission of original empirical, behavioral or applied research manuscripts that consider strategic and policy implications for regulation, regulatory models and markets. Research topics include but are not limited to:

  1. international self-regulatory activities and ethics;
  2. international case law and litigation;
  3. international government and institutional regulation;
  4. the international economics of regulation, including modeling;
  5. comparative studies of international regulatory practices.

Material must be presented using format and language which facilitate communication to those who address policy issues. Methodological elaboration and technique should be supplied in appendices. Manuscripts are blind refereed by the manuscript review panel with consultation of the editors.

Submission Information

Initial submissions of manuscripts will be accepted through October 1, 1996. Three printed copies with abstracts are required. Author(s) identity should be confined to the manuscript cover sheet. A copyright responsibility statement and copyright release by the author(s) is required before publication. Footnotes, citations and textnotes should conform to the style used in American Accounting Association journals. Upon acceptance, authors must submit a final edited version in print and on 3.5 inch MS-DOS diskette in ASCII file format per RinAR Submission Requirements.
