| Letter from the Editor This issue of the Reporter begins with a letter from the chair, Joseph Fisher, which includes a nice summary of resent section events, some interesting insights, and a plug for the 2003 Research Conference. We would all like to thank Marlys Lipe for her work on the 2002 Research Conference. In this newsletter, she provides us with a summary of the conference. John Rigsby's 2003 Working Paper Series, which is a regular and much appreciated feature, is also included. Please note the Announcements and Calls for Papers. Send me your materials for the Summer 2003 edition. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for improvements, changes, or additions to the Reporter.
