Biography
Timothy Kayworth is Professor and Department Chair of Information Systems in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. He has prior industry experience in information systems consulting and has also held positions as MIS director and operations manager for private sector firms. Professor Kayworth's research interests center on the management of IT in organizations. Recent research projects have included such topics as leadership in global virtual teams, the impact of organizational culture on knowledge management practice, the role of culture in information systems research, and information security governance. His work has been published in such journals as MIS Quarterly, the Journal of Management Information Systems, the European Management Journal, and DATABASE as well as in numerous international IS conference proceedings.
