Welcome! I teach and conduct research in the fields of Comparative Economic Systems and History of Economic Thought at Baylor University. For many years, I have been director of the McBride Center , providing coordination for our programs in international business. More recently, I also became chairman of the Department of Economics, coordinating the work of another great group of faculty members and students. In my spare time, I also dabble in music and am active at my church.  Here, you will find contact information, my weekly schedule, syllabi for my courses, a résumé, a large collection of links to Web sites on the economies of major regions and countries of the world, and other resources that should be useful to economics students.
