TIPS FOR
USING POWERPOINT SLIDES
VIEWING THE POWERPOINT SLIDES:
1. After you click on a topic link, the PowerPoint slide file
will open on your computer screen in the “Slide Show” format displaying one
full screen slide at a time.
2. To see each
slide individually, click on the “Edit” toolbar on the top left and select
“Edit Slides” on the drop-down menu, which arranges the slides one-by-one in
the “Normal” setting.
3. To see an overview of the slides in a rotating series, open
“View” on the upper tool bar and select “Slide Sorter” on the drop-down
menu.
4. To view the slides in slide show sequence, click on the
“Slide Show” menu setting under “View.” Click on each screen size slide to
advance to the next slide.
5. To open an html link on a slide, put the slide in position
#1 above and then click on it.
PRINTING THE POWERPOINT SLIDES:
The most
efficient way to print the slides is to choose the following 2 printing
options: Under “Print What,” choose “Handouts”; under
“Color/grayscale,” choose “Pure black and white.”
