• Emergency Patient Assessments: First Responders (1991), a five-module interactive videodisc workstation for training emergency first responders

• Established an audiographic computer network (2-way audio, 2-way computer interaction) to teach allied health topics to rural central Texas sites. Students in rural classrooms and instructors at the hospital simultaneously interacted using telecommunications software. Lecture slides appeared on the computer screen and participants used the keyboard and/or a graphics tablet to annotated the screens or answer questions (an electronic black board).
• Established a satellite-based (2-way audio, 2-way video) network for allied health training in rural central Texas. Students in rural classrooms and instructors in the hospital television studio communicated directly in a real-time digital environment. Conducted both continuing education and initial allied health programs. Project financed in part from a grant from NASA.
• Served as lead investigator in a state-funded research project to examine cognitive achievement and user satisfaction for students in both sites mentioned above.
• Researched and developed an instructional design specifically for distance education programs.  (These designs were presented at three international distance learning conferences and won two state research awards.)
• Named Chair of the Distance Education Roundtable, Baylor University, Waco, TX.
• Facilitator, Instructional Design Primer for Web-based Training, a one-day workshop (1 CEU) sponsored by the Baylor Division of Continuing Education. Sites have included New York City, Los Angeles, Detroit, Pittsburg, and Long Island.
