Arkansas. During college, I lived in the funeral home and made ambulance
calls. I enjoyed funeral and ambulance service and later entered mortuary
college. I became a licensed mortician in 1973, and a certified EMT in
1972. The Emerson Funeral Home is still one of the few funeral homes in
the nation to operate ambulance service. Larry remains in funeral
service and works at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas.
