NEW EDITOR OF BRIA

The ABO Section is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Susan Haka, Ernst & Young Professor of Accounting at Michigan State University as the next Editor of Behavioral Research in Accounting (BRIA). Dr. Haka will edit Volumes 13, 14 and 15 of BRIA and will assume the Editorship as of May 1999. The ABO section extends its appreciation to the members of the BRIA Search Committee: Jacob G. Birnberg, Chair (University of Pittsburgh), Michael Shields (Michigan State University), Philip Siegel (Long Island University, Arnold Wright (Boston College), and Steve Sutton (Texas Tech University).

Dr. Haka is currently Chair of the ABO Bylaws Committee. She has served the section in several capacities including Associate Editor of the Newsletter, member of the ABO Outstanding Dissertation Award Committee and Editorial Board of BRIA. She has been actively involved in the Section as presenter, discussant and panelist for ABO Research Conferences and ABO Section Sessions at the AAA Annual meetings. The section is pleased to have the continuing involvement of Dr. Haka as Editor of BRIA for the next three years. Please join me in congratulating Dr. Haka as the new Editor of BRIA.
