Message from the Editor This edition of The ABO Reporter consists of three subsections. The first subsection includes important information for the ABO member. The section includes an article on changes in the audit environment and group research by Jean Bedard and James Maroney of Northeastern University. In addition, there is a working paper list compiled by John Rigsby. The second subsection includes general announcements and the last subsection is a call for papers. I am looking for papers, research notes, and commentary that would be of interest to ABO members. Please let me know of your recommendations for improving the Reporter. The next deadline for The ABO Reporter is April 15, 1999. Please remember there is about a three-month lag between this deadline and publication. Therefore, make sure your announcements and calls for papers are timely. Best Regards, |
