Special Issue on
"Current Issues in Auditing: Assurance Services and
Auditors’ Independence."

Submission guidelines: Papers reporting the findings of experiments and quasi-experiments, field studies, archival analyses, surveys, and comprehensive literature reviews are appropriate. Also appropriate are papers describing conceptual models of independence, papers offering theoretical contributions related to independence, and papers providing historical discussions of independence with implications for current and future practices and standards. All papers will be double blind-refereed and should conform to the IJAAPE’s Editorial Policy available at: www.inderscience.com/catalogue/a/ijaape/indexijaape.html

There is no fee for submission. For consideration, papers must be received by 31 December 2004, and can be submitted either as a Microsoft Word file attached to an e-mail or as hardcopy (THREE copies) to either of the following persons:
