| ABO Section Officers Election, 2000-2001 Candidate for Vice-President, Regions: Jane Craighead received her Ph.D. from McGill University, Canada. She is an assistant professor at McGill University in Montreal. She currently serves as the ABO Section Regional Coordinator for Canada. Jane has presented at the ABO annual conference in the past and has published in Behavioral Research in Accounting, as well as other peer-reviewed journals. Jane presented a paper at the AAA meeting last year in San Diego and gave a brief report at the ABO meeting regarding the ABO activities in Canada. Jane is also a regular reviewer for the ABO and Financial Reporting sections of the AAA. A large percentage of the ABO's membership is from outside the US and as a non-US member she plans to be actively involved in managing the ABO section, increasing membership and working for the future growth of the ABO Section. |
